A little bit of everything

My friend Lauri decided to spend the morning with me so we could go see sheep, cross London Bridge. so went to see it as they have been re acting it for 10 years,
The event goes back to Medieval era when the farmers would drive their livestock from the country side into London to sell them at market.

After that we visit the East End and the Herd of Hope in Spitalfields Market 21 bronze  elephants that was quiet interesting. We walked through the market and being a Sunday there were various food vendors so we had out choice of food.  and tried some. then we headed to see some of the street art.

We found our way back to St Paul's Cathedral in order to visit Paternoster Square. There we sat at  "Wild Table of Love" this is an invitation to join the best banquet in the world. At best is Rabbitwoman and Dogman traveling the world to spread messages to love, acceptance and adventure.

We had originally planned on seeing the Pearlie Kings and Queens. attend a church service but the web site never was updated so we thought it wasn't happening. So just by chance we were walking and ran into them coming from the service. They wound up posing for us, when we said we missed them and they invited to a pub where they were going to eat.

Hyde Park Abbey Rd

Today I decided to visit St James Park again I so love the Park and it is my fave in the world, I first headed to find The Rock and Sole place I looked it up again. I decided to take the bus today to Trafalgar Square. Then I got off and looked around there before walking along the Thames River. I then headed up towards the fish and chips but it still took me awhile to find it but FINALLY success being a nice day decided to eat outside  my it had gotten quiet expensive but since I spent time finding it I decided to splurge.

I then headed to St James which was quiet a hike. I managed to see some people feeding squirrels so made the hike well worth it. I just enjoyed seeing them, and taking photos.  After that I caught the tube to Hyde Park it as it would have been a long walk. I started walking in because I wanted to see the flowers that had been left there for Queen Elizabeth but the walk to the spot and the water was quiet far I was exhausted by the time I got there. I looked at flowers snapped some photos but I just couldn't hack the walk to the Serpentine, I was exhausted for all I had walked today.

I had an early night, I was meeting my friend  Laurie at St Johns Woods Tube Station. We met up and took a walk down Cavendish Ave to see if anything interesting was happening. I had met that McCartney guy many time on Sept 23.  We then headed to Abbey Road and sat and watched people crossing and then decided to give it a try. Laurie offered to take photos of some girls doing the crossing and in exchange have us but they din't take a close shot. Oh well.

Then we headed to my fave Capital Kebab and I noticed the waitress looked like the one I had seen there over the years but she was too young and then another waitress walked in and I realize it was the one I knew from over the years and it turned out the younger was her daughter I mentioned the resemblance. She was quiet happy hearing her daughter looked like her.  After eating we went to the Thames and walked around a bit.  We then headed to Crossbones Graveyard, where we attended a monthly vigil. By this time my legs were shot and Laurie kinda made room for a place for me to sit by the fence.

Regents Park and Kensington Gardens

Today I headed to Regents Park its a nice walk and very close to my hotel. This time I remembered the area I wanted to visit. There was an exhibit on by an artist Peju Alatise an artist from Nigera. Her work was amazingly beautiful and she happened to be there so I got to talk to her awhile. The piece was entitled Sim and the Yellow Glassed bird.  The Sculpture shows Sim is a nine year old girl who lives in two worlds in one world she is a domestic servant in Lagos. In the other world, Sim lives in dreamland with talking birds and butterflies where she can fly)

After that I walked around looking at the roses luckily so many still in bloom. I then headed to Kensington Palace and walked saw the statue of Princess Diane.

I looked to have Tea there but they only had flavored tea. I was sitting by the lake and I started talking to a woman who was from
Ethiopia we had a very nice chat and she took some photos of me with my camera. I was ready to leave and she decided to walk with me. We walked and talked quite awhile and I was telling her things about the US. She walked with me until I caught the under ground. She hated to see me go.
